Logo designing -I hope most of you guys have ever seen a company’s logo which has been stretched and squeezed it doesn’t look the best. For your business or your service or your product now imagine if that was your logo and you’d spent time and effort to get the perfect design and the perfect brand identity and then you hand it over to someone. I can imagine it’s not going to make you happy because they take it the put it in an advert and they squash it to make it fit.

How early on you are in your business or depending on the size of your business. You may not require brand guidelines at this point but guidelines if you are going to go down the brand guidelines route you should at the very least have logoes yes they are comprehensive but you also want to allow some flexibility in there this will allow designers to be creative with your brand. Now they won’t stretch and squash your logoes but instead it will allow them to look at your branding & still keep that brand consistency but allow new ideas and some originality to come into your brand.
With what your audience and your customers want it never gets stale it’s always exciting developing moving To create the perfect logoes in summary, having a simple set of Logo designing guidelines is better than nothing at all why put in the effort and the time if you have nothing in place to stop other designers taking your logoes including it in some other marketing materials and changing it that’s definitely not what you want to happen. I strongly suggest you go back and speak to the designer that created your logoes and ask them to create some for you they’re the best person to do that if you have a logoes but you don’t have any Logo designing guidelines.
